Interview with Stephane Beasbr> 1. Could you sum up your professional background in a few words ? I have always worked on audit and control issues, both internal and external. I find the variety of companies, business sectors and multi-cultural practices stimulating. My capabilities are more on operational processes, designing and implementing systems in line with constraints and objectives. Nowadays regulatory aspects are more and more critical and understanding them is essential in the risk control arena. 2. Why did you join Cabinet Dauge et Associés, an independent firm member of an international network ? After 6 years working for myself, I wanted to rejoin a team with ambitious development plans and a strong close knit community. The history of Cabinet Dauge shows their commitment to long term results with no compromise on quality. Crowe Horwath has the same outlook in France and elsewhere: men and women working together synergistically as projects and their skills require it. This way of bringing experts together on a project basis seems to me to be a growing trend in our disciplines. 3. What do you prioritise in your customer relationships ? Listening, asking questions, developing my understanding of the client’s environment and requirements. Getting right into their business whether they are an industrial firm, exporter, sales and marketing, IT company or whatever business they are in by meeting and talking to different people in the organisation. Listen again and ask questions on the project or assignment we have been hired to do. Then it’s time to implement it. This initial preparatory phase is by far the most fundamental, with conclusion and reporting stages which make the work and its progress transparent, essential so people have a good perception of the work carried out. |
